KYABOBO GIRLS’ SCHOOL HOLDS COLOURFUL GRADUATION CEREMONY;STUDENTS URGED TO PURSUE EXCELLENCE AND UPHOLD GOOD VALUES
Kyabobo Girls’ School has held a colourful graduation ceremony to celebrate its final
year students, marking the successful completion of their secondary education and
preparing them for the next phase of their academic and professional journeys.
Addressing the gathering, the Headmistress expressed heartfelt gratitude to God for His
protection and guidance over the students throughout their years at the school,
culminating in a peaceful and successful graduation.
She reminded the graduates that graduation is not the end of education but the
beginning of a lifelong learning journey. Encouraging them to pursue higher education
and personal development, she urged them to uphold the school’s motto, “Shine
Through Education,” by becoming responsible, confident, and impactful members of
society.

The Headmistress challenged the graduates to strive for excellence in every aspect of
their lives, particularly as they transition to tertiary institutions. She also advised them
to maintain high moral standards, remain disciplined, and avoid behaviours that could
jeopardize their future.
“As young women, keep yourselves pure and abstain from immorality. Your bodies are
the temple of God,” she said, while encouraging them to dress modestly and conduct
themselves with dignity. She ended her address with a memorable caution: “Do not
make yourself a trap door that everybody opens at any time.”
The Municipal Director of Education also delivered an inspiring message, describing the
graduation as both the conclusion of one important chapter and the beginning of
another in the graduates’ lives.
He reminded the students that the real world is highly competitive, dynamic, and
unpredictable, requiring resilience, determination, and continuous self-improvement.
He encouraged them to embrace challenges and never allow failure to discourage
them.

“The most successful people in the world have failed more than once. Do not be afraid
to fail; instead, learn from every setback and keep moving forward,” he advised.
He further encouraged the graduates to seek trustworthy mentors who would guide
them positively and help shape their future. He noted that the knowledge acquired at
Kyabobo Girls’ School serves as a strong foundation, but stressed the importance of
continually acquiring new knowledge and practical skills to remain competitive in
today’s rapidly changing world.
The graduation ceremony attracted dignitaries from across the municipality, including a
representative of the Municipal Assembly, the Headmaster of Nkwanta Senior High
School, officials from the Municipal Education Directorate, parents, alumni, traditional
leaders, and invited guests.
The guests congratulated the graduates on their achievement and encouraged them to
remain focused, disciplined, and committed to excellence as they pursue higher
education and future careers.
The ceremony ended on a joyful note as students, parents, and guests celebrated the
remarkable milestone, expressing hope that the graduating class would become worthy
ambassadors of Kyabobo Girls’ School and make meaningful contributions to their
communities and the nation.
