NKWANTA SOUTH 24 HOUR MODEL MARKET SITE SUCCESSFULLY HANDED OVER TO MUNAJAK CONSTRUCTION LIMITED WITH FAST THINKERS AS CONSULTANTS.

On 12th May 2026, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Nkwanta South Municipal, in the presence of Nananom, stakeholders, staff, the media, and members of the general public, officially handed over the site for the construction of the 24-Hour Model Market to Munajak Construction Limited, with Fast Thinkers serving as consultants.

This important milestone marks the beginning of a new chapter in the development of the Municipality as preparations commence for the implementation of the project.

In his address, the MCE announced that a ceremonial sod-cutting event would soon be organized to officially commence construction works and pave the way for steady progress on the project. He further explained that arrangements had already been made for the relocation of Nkwanta JHS ‘A’ to a new site as part of a school cluster initiative.

He therefore appealed to the chiefs and people of Nkwanta to cooperate fully and support the contractor when work resumes on site. The MCE also assured the community that priority would be given to employing local people, especially the youth, during the construction phase.

Speaking on behalf of the traditional authorities, the chiefs pledged their full support and commitment towards the successful completion of the market project. They also emphasized the need for peace, unity, and cooperation within the community throughout the duration of the project.
