STARLIGHT STRETCH 3 COMMANDER COMMENDS NKWANTA SOUTH RESIDENTS FOR SUSTAINING PEACE
The Commander of Starlight Stretch 3, Major Muktar Saani, has commended the people of Nkwanta South Municipality and its surrounding communities for maintaining peace and order following the prolonged conflict in the area.
Speaking on the current security situation, Major Saani observed that there has been a significant improvement in the peace and security situation, with residents now moving freely and engaging in their normal daily activities without the fear that previously characterized the municipality.
He said the return of normal social and economic activities is a positive indication that the people are embracing peace and gradually restoring confidence in their communities.
Major Saani, however, urged residents not to take the current peace for granted. He appealed to civilians to continue cooperating with the security services by providing timely and relevant information that could help prevent threats and maintain law and order.
He explained that Starlight Stretch 3 remains committed to maintaining peace and security within Nkwanta South Municipality and its surrounding areas.
The Commander further expressed his appreciation to the various security agencies for their cooperation and support in maintaining stability in the municipality. He also acknowledged the efforts of the Nkwanta South Municipal Assembly and other stakeholders whose contributions continue to support the peace-building process.
Major Muktar Saani encouraged residents, traditional leaders, community leaders, youth groups and all stakeholders to remain committed to peace, unity and dialogue.
He stressed that sustaining the current peace requires the collective efforts of both civilians and security agencies, urging everyone to continue working together to ensure that Nkwanta South remains peaceful, safe and conducive for development.
